Bio

Eric Farber is the CEO & Chief Legal Officer of Farber & Company and founder of Pacific Workers’ Compensation Law Center. Eric grew up in Toronto, Canada, and Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University and Golden Gate University School of Law.

He has been practicing law for over 20 years. Outside of the legal profession, prior to the founding of Farber & Co., he worked at United Talent Agency and Signature Films, based at Sony Pictures. He has been involved in high-stakes litigation and transactional matters for over 20 years. In 2014, after representing numerous professional athletes in their California Workers’ Compensation cases. He was the first attorney to file an ALS case based on concussions in football and the first to file a CTE case as well. His work fighting for professional athletes led to his desire and drive to fight for workers in all professions.

Mr. Farber is an AV Rated attorney by Martindale Hubbel and has received numerous awards and honors such as being named a SuperLawyer by Law and Politics magazine for both Northern California and as National Corporate Counsel on multiple occasions.

As well as his work in Workers’ Compensation for Professional Athletes, he has personally litigated hundreds of cases in intellectual property, business disputes, real estate, financial fraud, and injury cases.

Under his leadership, Farber & Company has experienced tremendous growth as a premier firm in this niche legal arena. He is the former President and Executive Board Member for the San Francisco Inns’ of Court and the San Francisco Lawyers’ Club, former Commissioner of the Cultural Affairs Commission of Oakland, on the advisory board of RightsCorp, Inc., and an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Relativity School in Los Angeles. When he’s not hard at work in the office, Eric enjoys playing golf. He lives in Oakland with his wife and their dog.
