Karla Ortega is the Lead Intake Specialist, in charge of getting new clients situated within Pacific Workers' Compensation and answering their burning Workers’ Compensation questions. Karla has over 10 years of legal administration experience. Prior to joining our team, Karla was a Litigation Legal Secretary for a trade-broker firm, Casey Securities, LLC in San Francisco, California. She commenced her legal administration experience by working at Law Offices of John E. Hill, a Workers Compensation and Civil Law firm in Oakland, California. She holds an Associate degree in Applied Science in Business Administration from Heald College in Hayward. Karla resides in San Leandro with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she loves to volunteer with her daughter at the East Bay SPCA. She also enjoys spending time with her family and attending her daughter’s dance events year round. Karla is fluent in Spanish.
